Made in Germany in the earlier 1900's, these NOS feather trims are truly spectacular. They are still pretty solid, even after 100 years old, and the feathers are actually pretty tight on them. Each trim is made of multiple feathers. The curly parts on the front of the trims (either 2 or 3 colors) are each 3 separate quills that have been folded, and the barbs have been curled. These are attached to another trimmed quill on the back with a partially stripped feather shaft, leaving an elegant whip at the top of the trim. Even though they are fairly tight with the glue, you may still want to reglue/reinforce the almost 100 year old adhesive.
Uses: hats, pins, hair accessories, costumes, fascinators, etc.
